Prana Center Director Roberta Weiner (pictured, left) has practiced Yoga for more than 30 years, and taught for nearly 15 years as a certified Kripalu and Hatha Yoga teacher. Also a long-time Youth Theatre Director, her credits include The Wizard of Oz, Hooray for Hollywood, Alice in Wonderland, Jr., Kids Sing Broadway!, A Thousand Cranes, Annie Jr., A Little Princess, Disney's Cinderella Kids, Shirley Valentine, The Vertical Hour, A Murder is Announced, Harvey, Winnie-the-Pooh, The Life & Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, Topsy Turvy, Pollyanna, The Front Page, School Dazed, The Crucible, Anne of Green Gables, Arsenic & Old Lace, Inherit the Wind, The Secret Garden, Ramona Quimby, Little Women, The Chocolate War, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Pirates of Penzance, A Christmas Carol, Comedy Tonight!, Anastasia Krupnik, Goldilocks Speaks! and Jujubi & the Curse of Wing (Prana Productions), Rumpelstiltskin Retold, Jack & Jill & the Beanstalk, The Shadow Box, 12 Angry Men, Musicals: Pas de Deux (Washington Street Players), Anne of Green Gables (Enter Stage Left), and Deathtrap (Southborough Players). Roberta is the Director of Prana's Summer Acting Camp and has taught acting through the Holliston After-School Program. She is the co-founder of Prana Productions, with Nick Morana. Roberta and Nick are the co-authors of several children's plays, including Tinkerbell on Trial, Goldilocks Speaks!, Jujubi & the Curse of Wing, Rumpelstiltskin Retold and Jack & Jill & the Beanstalk.

Sheryl Altman (Acting Teacher) is a Cabaret singer who has studied and taught voice and acting for 12 years. She has appeared as a featured performer at Amazing Things in Framingham. She has also performed in The Steps Off Broadway Cabaret Nights in Bellingham Her acting credits include: Closer Than Ever, Footloose, 42nd Street, Stepping Out, Copacabana, Anne of Green Gables, The King and I, Bye Bye Birdie. Sheryl has assisted on the creative and production side of many Prana shows, including Little Women and A Christmas Carol, which she stage managed.  Sheryl is also a member of the Boston Association of Cabaret Artists and the Board of Advisors of Steps off Broadway in Bellingham.

Sharon Broadley-Martin (Music Teacher)  is an Associate Professor in the Contemporary Writing and Production department at Berklee College of Music. She teaches vocal writing and arranging through the regular school year and directs the Jazz Vocal Ensemble in the summer. She is an All-State choir director and BMI writer with numerous choir compositions published for high school performance groups around the country. Sharon has recorded six CDs on Nippon/Columbia Records, performed at numerous jazz festivals from the Montreal Jazz Fest to George Wein’s Newport Jazz Fest/Japan, and continues to use her voice for TV, radio and web-based ads, jingles, and movies. You can hear her voice recorded as a choir in the movie Borat, as an Oompa-Loompa on Wonka.com, a Christmas Reveler in the soap opera, Passions, and a singing chicken in the style of the Andrews Sisters, in a movie to be released this upcoming year. Sharon considers this recent work to be much more fun than that of her international performing days, and almost as much fun as working with the budding singers in the Prana Productions! Sharon has worked for Prana's summer camp for four summers and has coached many of the singers in Prana's The Pirates of Penzance and Topsy-Turvy.

Anita J. Durette (Music Teacher) has been a teacher of voice and piano for over 20 years. As a teacher Anita has earned a reputation for excellence in voice and piano pedagogy with the goal of her students becoming independent musicians, all the while instilling them with a love and appreciation for the joy of music.  With Anita’s teaching style students not only learn music theory and musicianship, they also learn the important skill of self-discipline. They are taught the benefits of staying committed to a long-term goal, even when it isn’t always easy. Many of her students have gone on to their own musical careers after graduating from music schools.  She received her B.A. in Music from Atlantic Union College and attended several Seminars for Singers at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Her performance career highlights include: singing back-up with contemporary Christian artist Steve Green and performing with the Thayer Symphony Orchestra. Currently she is Worship Leader at the First Baptist Church in Holliston and Founder and Director of the Hollis-tones, a chorus based at the Holliston Senior Center.

Kerry Evans (Yoga Teacher) has practiced Yoga for more than 10 years, and is certified through The Yoga of Energy Flow program, which combines Vinyasa Flow Yoga with a focus on Iyengar based alignment, while creatively integrating an awareness of the meridians and pranayama through flowing sequences of postures. This practice strengthens the life force, brings clarity to the mind and awakens one's true nature. As a life-long artist and a children's art teacher for the past 20 years, Kerry brings to her classes compassion, creativity and a desire to illuminate the innate gifts and strengths in each of her students. Kerry holds an M.A. in Art Education in Tufts/The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, is the mother of two young boys and is a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She also has an art studio in Holliston.

Mary Starr Green (Yoga Teacher) was introduced to yoga nearly 20 years ago through a corporate wellness program. Initially drawn to yoga for its physical benefits, practice opened her experience to profound positive mental and energetic effects as well. She enjoys working with students of all levels and is honored to teach, support and guide her students in discovering their own “yogic spark”. Mary is a certified Kripalu yoga instructor and Reiki Level I practitioner. She earned a BS in Bioengineering and MS in Project Management. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family in Hopkinton, gardening, hiking, drawing and painting.

Joanne Hines (Music Teacher and Accompanist) is a well-known Holliston piano teacher who has taught hundreds of students over the past 18 years.  She has been the accompanist for numerous Prana shows, including The Wizard of Oz, Annie, Cinderella, Topsy-Turvy, Little Women, The Pirates of Penzance, A Christmas Carol and Comedy Tonight as well as our summer shows.  She is the accompanist for the Hollistones and plays piano in the band every Sunday at CTK Lutheran Church.  Joanne also was the accompanist for Fame (Orpheum theatre) and for Musical Theatre classes at the Prana Center.  She has studied piano in the preparatory division, New England Conservatory and jazz with internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Rani Katsenelenbogen. Joanne also plays the piano for private parties.

Kimberley Lentros aka Sat Siri Kaur (Yoga Teacher) is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She completed her training with Guruatma Singh Khalsa at Franklin Yoga and Wellness in 2012. From 1995-1997 she attended Bancroft School of Massage Therapy and completed the 780 hr certification. Additional training has been obtained in Reiki, Energy Medicine, as well as 20 years of studying energy anatomy. In 2008 she completed training with the Coach Training Alliance, and currently works as a Human Energy Consultant. As well, Kim is owner and founder of Lost Art of Life, a fair trade retail store here in Holliston, MA as well as owner/founder of Agape Yoga and Wellness, which also offers relationship support to those either in a relationship, or seeking a better quality relationship. Her passion is to teach pranayam and meditation, as well as helping people live in less duality by balancing our energy so we can feel what it means to live life in the flow.

Nick Morana
(Co-founder, Prana Productions) co-directed A Thousand Cranes, The Chocolate War, The Diary of Anne Frank, Anastasia Krupnik, Goldilocks Speaks!, Jujubi & the Curse of Wing, Jack & Jill & the Beanstalk and Rumpelstiltskin Retold. He appeared on stage in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (ESL Theatre) and The Wizard of Oz. A professional carpenter, Nick has built the sets and run the back stage crews for many shows.  He has designed sound and built sets for many Prana shows and created many props, including the authentic-looking candlestick phones for The Front Page.

Julie Murphy (Acting Teacher) most recently directed Henry and Ramona for Prana.  She appeared in 'Night, Mother at Prana and directed The Ransom of Red Chief, A Christmas Carol, Tinkerbell on Trial, Stuart Little and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, plus co-directed Inherit the Wind.  She was Assistant Director for Little Women and directed the Little Women, Pirates of Penzance and Christmas Carol Workshops for Prana. Her other directing experience includes The Butleress and Fools (both Washington Street Players). A teacher at the Prana Center for eight years, Julie has appeared on stage in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Charlotte's Web, Faith County, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Wedding from Hell, The Audition and many others. She is featured in the independent film Faux Pas. Julie has also worked behind the scenes on many productions. Julie is married with two children, both of whom are active with Prana.

Courtney O'Regan (Yoga Teacher) was drawn to yoga after being diagnosed with scoliosis as a teenager, and it has given her a great sensitivity to physical limitations, especially with the back. Her yoga certification is "The Yoga of Energy Flow," and her style includes elements of slow flow combined with attention to proper alignment.
 

Helen Sabolek (Yoga Teacher) has been practicing Yoga for more than 10 years.  She teaches in the Regis College Psychology Department and is a mother of two.  Yoga has allowed her to find greater balance in her life and develop a kinder relationship with her body.  After years of running, lifting weights and playing competitive sports including soccer and rugby, yoga helped Helen move away from the mindset of "pushing through the pain," and to start listening to her body.  Helen integrates alignment and gentle movement with a focus on balancing effort and ease in the body to increase flexibility and help with postural imbalances both on and off the mat. Helen received her Hatha Yoga teaching certification through The Yoga Studio in Millis.
