We spent the morning
getting to know everyone with lots of acting games and fun!
The senior staff did a dance for the campers! (see photo) Lots
of singing with Joanne. Roberta ended the day with guided relaxation
for everyone!
Dress-up
games in the morning were lots of fun! Later, everyone who wants a
solo got plenty of time to practice for auditions tomorrow! Lots of
t-shirt tie-dying. A special arts and crafts project for the orange
and blue groups with LIT Colleen.
A
long fun day of Auditions for solos! Everyone was very brave,
including our first-ever Kindergarten soloists!!! Wait til you see
them ... everyone who tried out received a solo, duet or trio featured
part! I was so busy I forgot to take pictures so here is one more
from yesterday! Outside the audition room there were lots of water
games, improv & more. End-of-day relaxation featured Peter Pan and
mermaids!
Yellow and green had a
special yoga/hip-hop class with Kim Givens, who will be teaching an
afternoon class at Prana this fall! (pictured)
Lots of water fun to break up the
hot day! Singing and dancing inside with the AC. Our student
choreographers Amanda, Abby and Colleen are doing a great job with their
tap dancing! Mikado singers are doing great (photo right)!
Everyone worked hard on their
plays! LIT Julia did a great hat-making project with Orange and
Blue. I choreographed our baseball players! Laura
coordinated a fun dance activity for Green, Purple and Red. Joseph
worked on the full camp song with everyone! 
Lots
of face painting and crafts this afternoon with guest teacher Judy G. for
Orange and Blue. I got to see all the groups rehearse and they're
coming along nicely! Sara helped me finish all the choreography and
we can't wait to see the full play rehearsed tomorrow!
