This charming adaptation brings to life the tale of four sisters who may have lived in Civil-War era Concord, MA, but whose problems resonate with today's girls!  The March sisters struggle with poverty and an absentee father but resolve their problems with love and spirit.

Here's what one of our patrons wrote to friends (and copied to us!):

"You really should make time to go see Little Women! But only if:
- you have fond memories of childhood
- you ever enjoyed the book, the movie, or another live performance
- you remember what it's like to be a girl
- you enjoy seeing actresses and actors that range from college aged down to kindergarten who know their lines, and give movement, individuality and song to their characters
- you ever fought with, schemed with, survived with or loved your sister(s), or
- you ever fell in love.

Roberta, I only wish my "little woman" (now aged 31) had had a chance to be in your play."

Here's a series of Haikus one of our actors wrote after the show!

Theater
Nathan Rutberg
The parts have been cast
But the lines are not yet learned
It’s time to rehearse

Play is doing well
But still some are not trying
The show might not work

A pep talk we had
“One week” The director said
Hopefully that stuck

Finally we know
Our production will rock
Keep the confidence

BAM! Now is the show
Just another rehearsal
But it’s more public

“And enjoy the show”
My heart beats like a drum now
Curtains open. Scene

My time to enter
Sweat dripping like waterfalls
And I start to speak

Phew, exit stage right
I hear applause, curtain call
Go hold hands and bow.

Go backstage and laugh
About our mess ups and jokes
‘Cause who really cares

Then repeat again
Another three times the same
They all blend as one

At the end I’m sad
Maybe I’m depressed as well
It’s happened before

I know the next day
I will see the troupe again
Like nothing happened

I will always return to theater
