Dawn Anderson has acted and directed for several area theaters, including Enter Stage Left Theater of Hopkinton, where she is a founding director and the treasurer, Millis Theater Group, Algunkuin Theatre, and Washington Street Players. Originally associated with Prana Productions as a workshop instructor, Dawn has also costumed several shows and co-directed Reviving Ophelia with her daughter. She has acted for Prana in 'Night, Mother (Thelma), Agnes of God (Dr. Livingstone) and will appear as Shirley Valentine for Prana in February. Other notable acting credits include Christine in Bad Seed, Rita in Educating Rita, Melissa in Love Letters, and Ida in the Cemetery Club. Dawn occasionally works professionally in commercial and industrial acting and voice work.
