Wizard of Oz Munchkin Ensemble (Open to Grades K-3) - sorry, full
You will be the singing and dancing Munchkins in the Land of Oz! (No solos or speaking parts)
Rehearsal times:
Prana Center: Fridays 4:45-5:45 p.m., Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4
(Oct. 11 rehearsal 10:30-11:30 a.m.)
Adams Middle School: Friday, Oct. 18 5:15-6:15 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20 2-4:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21 5-7 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 22 5 -7 p.m.
Plus show dates - Arrival 1 hour prior to shows (see dates above). You will remain at the school between the Saturday shows.
Tuition for grades K-2: $325

Wizard of Oz featured Munchkins (Open to Grades 3-4) - sorry, full
Everyone who signs up WILL definitely get a part.  The audition is to see WHICH part. (Audition on day one of rehearsals)
(You will have EITHER a solo, featured singing part, or featured dance role - we cannot guarantee which.  Parts include: Mayor of Munchkin City, Barrister, City Fathers 1 and 2, Coroner, Munchkin Soloist 1 and 2, Lullaby League singer/dancer and Lollipop Guild singer/dancer)

Prana Center: Fridays 3:30-4:45 p.m., Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4

You will audition for the following featured and ensemble parts: Crows, Apple Trees, Cat, Winged Monkeys, Nikko, Winkie Guards, Leader of the Winkies, Ozians (You will have EITHER a solo, a speaking part, featured singing part, featured dance role or ensemble role - we cannot guarantee which.) You will audition Sunday, Aug. 25 for the following leading, featured and ensemble parts, featured dance parts and harmony singers: Dorothy, Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, Hunk/Scarecrow, Zeke/Lion, Hickory/Tin Man, Miss Gulch/Wicked Witch, Glinda, Prof. Marvel/Wizard, Wizard's Assistant, Doorman, Guard, Dancing Jitterbugs, Singing Jitterbugs, Optimistic Voices, Ozians

* If you are auditioning for a leading role, the Wizard of Oz must be either your only or your major commitment outside of school. 

Basic schedule (if you have a lead, you will have additional acting rehearsals and if a soloist, music rehearsals.)

Prana Center: Fridays 2:15-3:30 p.m. (you will stay until 5:45 p.m. if you are in the Munchkinland sequences) Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4
Sundays 12:30-4:45 p.m., Sept. 8, 15, 22, 29, Oct. 6, 13
Plus, Friday, Oct. 11 professional day, 11:45-1:30 (you will arrive at 10:30 if you are in the Munchkinland sequences)
Adams Middle School: Friday, Oct. 18 6-7:45 p.m. (you will arrive at 5:15 if you are in the Munchkinland sequences), Sunday, Oct. 20 12:30-4:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21 5-7 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 22 5 -7 p.m.

We will also rehearse on Sunday, Oct. 13 and Monday, Oct. 14, Columbus Day - you CANNOT audition for a leading role if you will be out of town Columbus Day weekend and we strongly request that all members of this group be here for Columbus Day weekend rehearsals.
